On new hosting environments it may happen that you get an "Call to udefined function: exif_imagetype" error message. This can be caused by missing exif support for PHP (exif_imagetpye() is reading the first byte from a picture and is verifiying its signature).

Fix:

1. If you are a Shared Hosting customer: Please get in touch with customer support.
2. If you are managing your very own cPanel server, please rebuild Apache using EasyApache while checking the exif checkbox in Exhaustive Option List.
